![]() ![]() There is a known issue with the GUI here. In the GUI it is on “automatic” but when you type “set auto_commit” it seems to be off. There is some kind of “magic” going on with the autocommit setting. It is easier to set the host, database user and password in the respective config file of the installer. If you use the 64bit version of EMS SQL Management Studio for PostgreSQL the connection strings will be “dynamic” and not shown in the GUI. You can run a 64bit test-version of EMS SQL Management Studio for PostgreSQL. I do not have an x86-64 system but rather a 64bit x86 system. You don’t say what was the reason you use an old version of EMS. The reason is that you are using version 5.1.1.4 for quite some time and I had to dig around in EMS (a prerelease) to find them.
